Cookie Notice
This is an English translation, provided for convenience. The legally binding version is the Hungarian one — in case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian text prevails.
This notice describes what cookies the website of Helló Kedves – Svájci Lak places in your browser, what we use them for, and how you can change your decision at any time.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It is not a program, it cannot do any harm, and it cannot read the files on your computer. It lets the site "remember" something between two page loads — what you put in the basket, for example, or that you have already answered the question about cookies.
Which cookies do we use?
We group them into three. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, because the site cannot be used without them — the law requires no consent for these. Analytics and marketing cookies are only placed if you accept them in the bar shown on your first visit. If you reject them, your browser sends not a single request to Google's or Meta's servers.
Strictly necessary cookies
| Name | What it does | How long it lives | Whose it is |
|---|---|---|---|
food-platform-session | Identifies the visit: the contents of the basket and the state of the forms are tied to it. | Until the browser is closed (2 hours at most) | Ours (first party) |
XSRF-TOKEN | A security token that prevents another site from submitting a form in your name. | 2 hours | Ours (first party) |
cookie_consent | This stores your cookie decision itself, so that we do not have to ask again on every page. | 1 year | Ours (first party) |
— (the basket) | What is in your basket until the order is placed. The basket lives on the SERVER, with your session — it needs no cookie of its own. | Until the end of the session | Ours (first party) |
faqChat.transcript | Your conversation with the FAQ assistant, so that moving to another page does not start it over. Technically not a cookie: it is in the browser's tab memory (sessionStorage) and is deleted when the tab is closed. | Until the tab is closed | Ours (first party) |
Analytics cookies – only with consent
| Name | What it does | How long it lives | Whose it is |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4: tells visitors apart so that we can see, in aggregate, how many people come to the site and which parts interest them. | 2 years | Google Ireland Ltd. (third party) (placed only if this service is switched on) |
_gid | Google Analytics: tells daily visitors apart. | 24 hours | Google Ireland Ltd. (third party) (placed only if this service is switched on) |
_gat* | Google Analytics: limits the number of requests. | 1 minute | Google Ireland Ltd. (third party) (placed only if this service is switched on) |
Marketing cookies – only with consent
| Name | What it does | How long it lives | Whose it is |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta (Facebook) Pixel: measures what people who come from our adverts do on the site, and makes ad targeting possible. | 3 months | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (third party) (placed only if this service is switched on) |
_fbc | Meta Pixel: the identifier of the advert you arrived from. | 3 months | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (third party) (placed only if this service is switched on) |
NID, IDE and the like | The cookies of the embedded Google Map. This is why the map does not load at all until you accept marketing cookies — instead, a direct link takes you to Google Maps. | 6 months – 2 years | Google Ireland Ltd. (third party) (placed only if this service is switched on) |
How can you change your decision?
In the footer, beside the legal links, there is a "Cookie settings" button. You can click it at any time: the same window opens as on your first visit, and the switches show your current choice. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it and takes effect immediately — the cookies of the withdrawn category are deleted.
If this notice changes materially (because we start using a new tool, for example), we ask everybody again: earlier consents lapse at that point.
How to delete cookies in your browser
You can also delete cookies already placed in your browser's settings, and block new ones. Remember: with the strictly necessary cookies blocked, the basket and ordering will not work.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
